The Cramps are probably the least likely groups to find their way onto the set of Beverly Hills, 90210 … but in 1995, in the spirit of Halloween, these two unlikely worlds actually collided in a glorious episode, appropriately titled Gypsies, Cramps and Fleas.
The band's phenomenal frontman Luz Interior breaks the ice with a snarling, “Hey boys and ghouls, are you ready to raise the dead?” Before the band kicks into a raucous Mean Machine followed by Strange Love for a room full of all-American teens.
October is also the month the late, great Lux Interior celebrated his birthday, so there’s no better time to look wonderfully weird slice of history – enjoy below!

What may be the strangest part of all, incredibly this was only The Cramps second-ever national TV performance, after appearing on Night with Conan O’Brien in 1994 to perform Ultra Twist.
