We've been enjoying the new album Rollercoaster by the great Dan Baird & Home Made Sin, who are set to hit downunder for a national tour in coming days.

Dan Baird, if the name doesn’t ring a bell, was the main man in the Georgia Satellites back in the ‘80s – a fabulous band who specialised in high energy Faces-Stones-Chuck Berry-AC/DC rock’n’roll and who had a couple of hits with "Keep Your Hands To yourself" and "Battleship Chains". Dan later had a bit of a hit too with the catchy “I Love You Period” off his first solo album, and has been releasing a steady stream of consistently quality but under the radar work for decades now.

His current band Home Made Sin features fellow ex-Satellite Mauro Magellan, and most excitingly, guitarist Warner Hodges of another truly great ‘80s rock’n’roll band, Jason & The Scorchers. The band play a mix of old and new in the same hard hitting and irresistible style, so if you’re a Satellites fan you’re gonna definitely want to see this.
