Love’s third album Forever Changes reaches a milestone 50th anniversary this year. Love’s masterpiece which was not commercially successful on release, has yielded many accolades over the years. It consistently appears on critics lists of all-time best rock albums, including ranking 40th on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and in 2008 it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Released on Elektra Records Forever Changes has gone on to become recognized as one of the greatest albums of the "Summer of Love." Rhino is celebrating the album's 50th anniversary with a deluxe edition, including four CDs, a DVD, a vinyl album, and a book. Forever Changes was originally recorded at the height of the "flower power" era and protests against the Vietnam War.
