Wonder - The best selling novel inspired by Natalie Merchant's song is now a film

November 30 is the Australian release date for the of Wonder, a film based on the beautiful and best-selling novel of the same name by R.J. Palacio. The film is directed by Stephen Chbosky and stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson as the parents of a young boy named August Pullman (portrayed by Jacob Tremblay) who wants nothing but to blend in but is born to stand out because of a terrible facial abnormality.

Author R.J. Palacio has often credited Natalie Merchant’s song “Wonder”  - from Tigerlily  - as the inspiration for the novel, and the song will be featured on the soundtrack.
