Hey who remembers Blue Swede’s massive hit "Hooked On A Feeling", from 1974? If you heard it you probably haven’t forgotten it. And we bet that a lot of you, like us, remember it best from this great compilation, in which, if our memory serves correct,  it sat at Track 1, Side 1.

You mightn’t realise it, but the track has had a new lease of life on the soundtrack to the new Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy 2 film, and it’s now has just clocked up a 100 Million plays on Spotify – putting it in a fairly exclusive club for pre-1980 tracks. It was certainly the band’s biggest hit by a mile – they had others in their native Sweden – and a big part of that was surely the unforgettable ‘ooga chaka’ hook, which WASN’T part of the original recording of the song, by BJ Thomas.
